🌐 What is Expo 2025?

The World Expo, aka. World’s Fair, is a global event where countries, innovators, and industries come together to present new technologies, cultural achievements, and ideas for the future. Held every five years, it’s a place where nations showcase their progress and collaborate on global challenges.

The 2025 World Expo in Osaka, Japan, will welcome 28 million visitors and 168 countries, lasting for 6 months, offering a massive platform to share what blockchain industry has achieved and it's impact with the world.

The Mu will be presenting in one of the pavilions in the Future Life Village from May 12th to 18th. Our venue is located near one of the largest facilities on the Expo site—the Future Life Expo. We will use this platform to connect the Ethereum and communities with representatives from 168+ countries, 400+ foundations and NGOs exhibiting alongside us, for a week!

🎯 Why was The Mu Invited to Present?

Our work with developer pop-up cities has led to impactful blockchain adoption in emerging regions:

🇹🇭 muChiangmai (Thailand) – The first pop-up city event in Asia, helped local projects like @ethpadthai to grow and amplify their voice.

🇹🇷 muStabul (Istanbul) – Bridged the gap between blockchain solutions and the local community.

🇦🇷 muBuenos (Argentina) – Turned into @crecimientoar , an Argentine blockchain movement, and launched Aleph, a pop-up city.

🇬🇭 muAccra (Ghana) – Led to @ETHiopia____ a developer pop-up city in Ethiopia & @zuAfrique , expanding real-world blockchain adoption across Africa.

1. 🎬 Ethereum Documentary – Co-create with the Global Community

We are producing Ethereum: A Global Story, a documentary that gathers stories from Ethereum communities worldwide. Help us showcase Ethereum’s real-world impact by submitting a 3-5 minute video telling your story of Ethereum.

Target co-creators: Ethereum communities. Including: Ethereum, L2, ZK, Public Goods, NFTs, Educational and so much more!!

2. 🎙️ Talks and Workshops about Ethereum ecosystem and beyond

We are hosting talks and workshops in our pavilion, inviting leaders to share insights on Ethereum’s innovation, cyberpunk values, and blockchain's future. Whether you're a founder, builder, or researcher, we welcome you to speak at The Mu @ Expo 2025.

Each day will focus on a key aspect of Ethereum and its real-world applications, featuring seven speaking slots per day:

• Day 3: Privacy and the Cypherpunk Movement
